  3. No, it will work for all Earthlink branded service. Whether the service is going through Comcast, Timewarner etc.
  4. yes, TSR is Technical Support Rep. Earthlink reps will give you the DNS server addresses and actually they're on support.earthlink.net
  5. Well, tweaks works for some and may not work for others. Unfortunately it didn't work for you. Rule of thumb: before making any critical changes on your computer, back everything up You may try system restore to restore your system.
  6. DNS server issues has been an ongoing problem of EarthLink for a couple of years now. Number 1 fix your EarthLink TSRs will give you is to hardcode DNS IP Address on the Modem/Router. With regards to authentication, call EarthLink and ask TSR to Refresh your account in their Radius Servers (ELK's Auth Servers). If they tell you they don't know how to do that, tell them to go to their MIDAS database, it's there.

  15. Hi Snider, Have you checked your AP stats if you're getting good signal from the accesspoint? Please post your AP stats here so we can see what's going on
  16. It just won't broadcast the router's SSID but yes they will still be able to connect.
  17. Let's all face reality There maybe some getting 1000+kbps and some way below that. It's not an issue who gets high speeds or who gets low. Just don't easily blow off your sanity and step on someone If you get high speed from a low performing ISP then great! We're happy for you. We treat everyone here equal regardless of their status because of the number of posts they made. Everyone makes mistakes once in a while and everyone becomes an expert in his own little way.
