you want to stay away from any that are power PC based because the power PC processor is dead. + they are slow

I would stay away from any mac for 99 bucks. they are all going to run OS 9 or lower. and you dont want to deal with that. I would stay away from any mac that is intel based.

not all of them. there was a new dell, and a IBM think pad with a p4 in it. There were a few bare bone laptops tho.

I stayed away from macs because the power pc processors were always so slow. But since they put a Intel processor in it, ive switched. the only time i use windows is at work because i have to for the programs i use. If you put Vista Next to OSX tiger and leopard its almost a side by side copy the only thing really different is the start menu.

there are alot of improvements needed. na forget linux, suse was the only good one, and now Microsoft has there hand in that. Lets all go OSX.

its alot more then just eyecandy. There would have been a ton more if they didnt have to rebuilt it 2 years ago. The thing that has the biggest change is the security and i hope they got it right.

I dont think anyone is going to release a RTM to the public. If it is going to happen it will happen when large business get it in late December early January. If this is going to happen it will happen sometime this week because the dedline for RTM is November 7th,

since they added the download/upload quota feature it has gone up.

its 15min and as far as i know it hasent been turned back on since ca3le did the reinstall.
