  3. Mine is going to a data center in chicago to run my rather large website. CPU and Ram really isn't a problem i run my site off a duel P3 800 with 512MB of ram right now and i get 20,000 unique visitors and 70,000 pages views a day and it does just fine. Hard drive is my problem i need alot of it. MYSQL is the only thing that is starting to worry me its gone from 22,000 records to 57,000 records in 24 days.

  5. it should your just pulling the modem stats. tho if the modem is your ISP's then it might not.
  6. I feel your pain, i had to do it every 3 months for 30 computers it sucked.
  7. ok im going to give everyone the special microsoft secret when you call to activate once you get to the point were you start saying the #'s don't say the numbers just say "collect them another way" it will take you straight to a rep you tell them the # and they give you a key.

  9. ya i forgot prescott = HOT. I have to go with ATA or sata for the drives. I need a ton of storage, at least 500GB and scsi isnt going to do that. those guys look pertty good. Imn check out ebay also for a 1U prebuilt. I wont go with a AMD swimmer. I would go with a celeron over a 64 or Opteron

  13. you just need to find the right tweak settings for that computer to get it as fast. also have you run any spyware scans.

  23. no you cant burn it to a cd, you need a regualy windows xp disk. a vista cd wont do it becuase vista does not have a master boot record like windows xp so there is no need for fixboot.
  24. if you stick it in and it goes into a regular windows blue screen setup then its a windows xp cd, if anything else its just a image CD. i wouldnt
  25. vista will do it for you in the install. there is a advance options section for it.
