  3. saygoodie welcome to the forum. it depends on what plan your have 4,6 or 8mbps. thats any were from 488kb/s to 976kb/s. You should be getting those speeds right away, but its probally just because your connection is not tweaked correctly, clear your cache and do this test http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php?step1_timed=&step1_size=&step1_validation=&testall=&s=12160&st=st&ni=ni&ta=&top=&tt=1&nobar= then post the results.   4. Radikal try tweaking your connection a bit, you can try TCP optimazer first. download it here http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-11975
  5. shadowdweller the router that works, what connection mode is that on? pppoe, automatic dhcp, etc. etc.
  6. Radikal those last 2 tests are cached clear your cache and try those again.     right click on the drive and click properties go to autorun, and make sure "prompt me each time to choose a action" is checked for each option.
  21. Voltageman the manufactor determines what a high # is, and they usilaly say 8 or 6 dead pixels. you were probally still under the return policaly of the store thats why you were able to brong it back.
  22. no it still takes forever, it doesnt matter what site i do it to. its something with my isps DNS servers.

  24. yes your internet is fine, i would just clear your cache before you do a speed test, sometimes it can make the test slower if your cache is full.
