i pay $3000 a year for the lot, then my company pays for most of it. and the place were it is hosted i know they guy that started it so i get special service. its a tool thats needed and it make millions in return.

hay everybody, i never said what that server was really used for, sure i host a few game servers, but you don't generate 1813.34GB of traffic use in 15days just hosting game servers and filesharring. The main thing that server is used for is 3Dmax and Photoshop streaming. i stream very large files anyware from 15mb's-2GB's in size to 100's of people at once. I am a Graphics designer for the best home theater company. I render all the 3D virtual tours of every theater we do. then i stream it from that server to the customer and all the other 100's of people that are working his/her 30million dollar house. no, of all the 64players in at onece it uses about 10-12mb of bandwidth per second. thats 192kb/s of bandwidth being sucked from my server for each user in a 64 man server.

the reason i can get 2 oc48 guys is because i grew up next to the guy that started the company were my server is. a avg 64man bf2 server uses about 10-12mb of bandwidth per second.

they are connected to my server and my server only. They only time i have to share bandwidth with another server is when my host runs there monthly internet lan party.

I pay not that much, since they are my own servers that I paid for I'm just paying for that storage and connection cost. on the first server is $99 a month, for the other its $3000 a year, and i get 2 dedicated oc48 connections. :haha: :haha: :haha: i do host sever game servers at once right now I'm hosting 2 battlefield 2 servers. i wont give them name because i don't want to violate any rules. but i can give you this month they each have 64 players max and they always have around 64 players, and the server ip starts with 24.x.x.x:16567

the server that thoese stats are from is a duel p4 2.6ghz 2gb ram 300gb hard drive 400gb of bandwidth oc12 connection red hat my do everything server: quad P4 3.4GHzw/HT 4GB ram 2x400GB HD's unlimated bandwidth Duel OC48 Connection Hosted by BFGTECH running win 03 adv. server with plesk 7 and i host lots of game servers off this one.

dude i happen to own a dedicated server with duel oc48 connection on it. thats Ware the mirror is going. why would you even think i would i would try to run a speed test site off a dsl connection anyway. im donating 40GB of bandwidth to testmy.net

i would like to offer some of my server space, power, and bandwidth to testmy.net so there can me another mirror. my server is located in minnesota and i would like to donate about 30-40gb of bandwidth monthly. can someone please let me know what I have to do to set this up. thanks

i just download the call of duty 2 teaser demo, and i have to say this game is f***en amazing. just playing the demo for 15min and I'm very impressed. i was impressed with the first call of duty and I'm even more impressed with this one. take a look at the screen shots i took below. you have to download this game its the best, better then doom3 half-life 2, blows away brotheres in arms. download it. the people that made this game deserver a standing ovation they captured the essence of that WW2 was like for many so all can experience a peace of it.

its a qwest leased OC12. its a nice connection. i was pulling my fill speed from that server about 400kb/s
