Nah, I woke up fine. But it's pretty obvious this is more of a hardware problem rather than settings related. Even if his settings were off, I doubt he would have a "lousy" connection.

What do you mean "no luck" with the new router? Can you even use HughesNet right now? Are you sure your HughesNet modem wasn't 'sizzled' as well?

I've tried Frostwire.. I like it just as much as Limewire Pro, so I'll stick with Limewire Pro. I uninstalled Frostwire a little while ago and haven't tried it in awhile.. I try it again tonight.

Maybe the test isn't as accurate for him?? I seriously doubt he gets that upload when he uploads to somewhere else.. But unfortunately, there's really no way of knowing your speed.

Oh I wouldn't trade my HughesNet for anything. I mean, how can you not love their great Indian customer support. They're so helpful. Power cycling fixes everything! And I love paying $70 for an internet connection that works 75% of the time! Not to mention I can only download 300mb in about 3 hours, it really keeps me from downloading too much. It's almost like a parental control.

Are you sure you didn't get FAP'd? I was slow last night as well, but I think I was FAP'd. Too much porn.

I didn't say the upload was bad.. Hell, we don't even know if it's accurate.
