It appears you have a cable set to full duplex and maybe the router set to half . May want to check that out , I have also noticed this will flag , when you have a twisted pair ( networked box- box) one machine set as a server for the others. edit: of course most routers have a setting to let you know this.

AVG, paid version. It has a great FW, easyly configured. The free version is just as good, but does not contain the FW, and many of the features. No problems w/ either : )

I prefer to use a prog called "PC Clone" , and an unformatted USB HDD. Never had any issues with it. And it's pretty fast.
