Welcome to the forum, amish.

Looks like you are on RR's 8/512 package.  Once you get to the cablenut section, try using the 'Cable & DSL 10000' custom file from VanBuren's v.8.  Other members on your package have had luck with that.

Yup most users in Florida have the 7000/512 package..most of the country under TWC should get these speeds by March 1 or by June from what I have heard..most likely you have gotten it already...like Revolutionized said..where are you located so it can confirm with the upgrades planned?

well if you have earthlink then you prolly will be upgraded cause its the exact same thing as rr, cept you have earthlink software, so if brighthouse or twc gives you the connection then yes if the update does come

as i have earthlink with brighthouse feeding us the connection

and i just uninstall the earthlink software

Although both ISPs may belong to the same company, they do have different networks.  Plus, since cable is shared, the ISP puts the caps on the modems.  This means that, whether the network is faster or not, the ISP determines whether they will raise the caps.  Earthlink and RR may have different gameplans.

Will I get it? I'm in Queens, NYC, NY. I have Earthlink from Time Warner, so it's basically RR, I got the 5/384 package.

So far TWC is working in Queens...they are replacing amp boxes...working on the nodes...basically trying to get as much done before FIOS takes over...also some people have seen sporadic increases in Astoria where I live and other parts of Queens..so for now,its only a matter of time
