coknuck Posted July 13, 2006 CID Share Posted July 13, 2006 no you go here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx go to the bottom and select your county, then click go. you need to login with a windows live ID, if you dont have one make one once you are sined in a page will come up and show you a product key. that key can be used on 10 different PCs. Here you go. Read the quote and fallow it to the key.

php Posted July 13, 2006 CID Share Posted July 13, 2006 I kinda like it, but I certainly won't be buying it... the extra security features are really irritating and it's basically XP with a new theme.

php Posted July 14, 2006 CID Share Posted July 14, 2006 I can deal with the popup dialogs, but I'm locked out of a bunch of folders that I should be able to access. Ex. C:UsersphpApplication Data I can get into subfolders of that, but only if I know the directory structure by memory
