user00265 Posted August 10, 2006 CID Share Posted August 10, 2006 $24.95 is the lowest plan which is 256kbps down and 128kbps up, no way you get 2mbps for $25. Xtremo? you killed it yourself buddy.
DSLXtremo Posted August 10, 2006 CID Share Posted August 10, 2006 I beg your pardon. The forums were closed due to the internal problems we, as a community, were having. You claim that I killed them. Quite the contrary. I was the one trying to keep it alive, always trying to maintain the highest level of excellence and quality. Those expelled from the forums were the ones responsible for the forum's ultimate demise. If you, and the others, would had simply obeyed the rules and do what you were told, none of this would have ever occurred. Those responsible decided to take matters into their own hands, and alas, I was forced to close down the forums temporarily, reconstructing them for a later date. Mark my words: the boards will be back. And even though all of you are allowed to return back, the highest level of respect is expected from all of you. I hope we can maintain a civil relationship, even though our past has aflicted us in so many ways. Cheers and godspeed. user00265 Posted August 10, 2006 CID Share Posted August 10, 2006 Now to deviate the topic to it's original and intended discussion, that guy is either cheating or lying. Those are not the rates for such speed. These are the prices and speeds advertised (Spanish): DMAX One (256/128): $24.95 DMAX Experience (512/256): $39.95 DMAX Generation (1024/512): $59.95 DMAX Extreme (2048/512): $84.

DSLXtremo dslxtremo ### at ### prtc.net Mr. DSLXtremo As stated before YOU are the person responsible for the death of the DSLXtremo community. Yes, I was one of the banned ones and I still wonder why. I received a message from you telling me to remove a link that I had to another forum (which you claim to be competing forum), I just replied asking why and proceeded to modify my signature. The next time I tried to log in I found myself banned, I wonder to how many people you did the same thing. I had also seen posts in which you engage personal accusation, discrimination, etc and now you post here defending yourself and blaming banned users for the death of your forum, that's BS and a lame excuse my friend. Good to see that you finally accepted that the forums were closed by you and not because the database was corrupted or any of your lame excuses trying to cover up. Lucky for me I was able to unsubscribe from DMAX and now I'm a happy customer with another provider which has better speeds at about the same price and does not have the POS help desk that PRTC has. user00265 Posted August 11, 2006 CID Share Posted August 11, 2006 He's very disliked by all the people he banned without justification, so it might... I know they are watching this thread, I don't know if he is. I read these forums just don't need to post, I already participate in over 10 forums... I think that's enough for poor little me but I just thought I'd post here since those prices are the official and anybody saying that those speeds in DMAX that cheap are lying.
