paladin Posted September 5, 2006 CID Share Posted September 5, 2006 Here east of the metro plex it started raining Sunday afternoon and is still raining at 7:15pm Mon. and more to come I hope. We need the rain here as all our lakes are very low, as much as 15ft. This rain isn't gonna help the lakes as it is a slow pretty steady rain that is soak- ing in as it hits, thus no runoff to the lakes. And today a rode my dirtbike for about 4 hours, Pretty fun. Also browsed the internet on an xbox "yes an xbox" for the first time today, what an experience. My cousin, her husband and 2 kids were up too.... Tried catching "Walter" in the lake with my little cousin...There is a 2ft+ largemouth bass swimming around in the little man made lake...We hooked into him memorial day, but he out smarted us by swimming under the paddleboat and getting the line wrapped around the rudder... Smart fishy! Fish seemed a bit freaked out by the weather....They were sleeping all weekend..
