Make absolutely sure it is compatible, and supports the correct timing. thanks, it seems to be several models of that mobo (almost same nr) but only one support PC6400 memory, i had picked the wrong one lol, the store didnt have that card home, so i picked another http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131074 a bit more money but it seems great, i also did a search at http://www.corsair.com/ so make sure the board and my ram works. i also changed the CPU cooler to Zalman CNPS9700LED http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=229&code seems like only the RAM missing, its planned to arrive to store 1 st of feb. During the time i been thinking and now i made up my mind and decided to go for the quad core CPU instead, and choose a cheaper GPU. VanBuren Introduction nVidia has been sitting pretty at the top of the performance tree ever since the release of the G80 series of graphics cards back in November. For dual vs quad core, my E6400 eats pretty much anything vista throws at it within seconds, but I'm not a huge multitasker. But I'm glad that you're happy with your system.
