becman Posted January 29, 2008 CID Share Posted January 29, 2008 I am wondering if those 12000+ speeds are real. Guys, is it consistent? Like you get those speed say 5 consecutive bandwidth tests? well.. ok...it aint that consistent (depends on how you define it) but c'mon... just check out misc tools>score database>username (sven/CB) or their comp IDs so far so good. @megabytez you're living up to your name... The speed above, after the update of my Canopy Software, yesterday or 2 days ago.

coolbuster2007 Posted January 29, 2008 CID Share Posted January 29, 2008 Anyway, I checked out coolbuster's wonderful blog, and I loved the idea of creating or merging applications which will make a SMARTBro subscriber's connection faster. Question, how can we have it? Downloadable version? CD? How? How can we pay? PM me, can you give me something like a teaser for it? my apology, pressing work schedules prevented me from replying to this post of yours. thank you for the compliments. as i posted before, it is proper to read my blog for FDC updates. advertising something is against tmn forum rules. i hope for your kind understanding. becman Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 @ karlo were you able to find new/different indexes (AP evalution) when you updated your canopy or just same indexes you had before? was it also a new 7Mbps aggregate or still 1Mbps (screenies if you may?)? coz if it does change i may get an update myself. thanks

coolbuster2007 Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 aren't those screenies showing a surge? although they're indicating a 53% and 86% download, there is only 1 slot showing the received data in both s-shots, which usually happens in a pause-resume process. your speed is fast though. nice
becman Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 yeah, it start out at 30, then 80, then 120kB/s. i only posted the hi points (it got stuck there w/c made me take snapshots... waited for a while if ever it goes down..80, 50 and up again for minutes. i thought IDMs were suppose to be that way since it's clustered? that one slot is consistent, i can't take snaps of the others w/c keeps on disconnecting. (no pause in between coz i use my other pc for work and i leave it and come back often to check) beginning (same file) end (same file) question.. how come your IDM snapshot isn't aligned? peace
coolbuster2007 Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 ah. now i see it - take a look at your resume capability w/c is "unknown". regarding your query, it's maybe a bug due to the software w/c changes the properties of my window from ordinary to transparent. check out my other download screenie: thank you for your observation. keep in touch man. becman Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 yeah thanks. ummm... how do i enable "resume"? yes, some of my dialog boxes get scattered too. like my spybot > i can't view the allow button. and why the heck is my pause disabled? coolbuster2007 Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 softwares aren't perfect. that's the truth. that's is why their makers keep on making bug fixes and improvements. i have downloaded the same thing just a minute ago, speed isn't that fast as the previous screenie though. coolbuster2007 Posted January 30, 2008 CID Share Posted January 30, 2008 and one more thing. i believe the resume capability depends on the server you are downloading the file from.
