fr0stbound Posted August 3, 2007 CID Share Posted August 3, 2007 yeah, i guess you're right. btw, after trying out loads of different ip addresses i finally got to access my canopy, its 169.254.1.2(the first post says 169.254.3.3) here's the deal, here i was so excited that i will finally be able to tweak my canopy settings when lo and behold, there's nothing to tweak anymore, looks like the installers already did it for me. looks like not all installers are slackers, in fairness to all smart brostaff. coolbuster2007 Posted August 4, 2007 CID Share Posted August 4, 2007 now if you think everything's been set in your canopy, think again. i guess you had the setting maxxed to 500 & 1500, right? if i am correct, try to make a little adjustment. try the values 448 and 1024, if it does not do good, just revert it. coolbuster2007 Posted August 4, 2007 CID Share Posted August 4, 2007 simple. open your uTorrent window and click the items you are downloading and hit "stop". if you have finished downloading and just seeding, you can uninstall uTorrent if you like. uTorrent is a standalone software that uses minimal system resources, but certainly will affect your speedtesting.
