bryanlautt Posted May 5, 2007 CID Share Posted May 5, 2007 im going threw a hub... there is also a router on my network... a total of 7 computers right now you dont like the security features of a router?? Routers do alot better routing traffic then a Hub.
TimPawlak Posted May 5, 2007 Author CID Share Posted May 5, 2007 oh i like routers.. and their security features.. but i'm advanced enough to the point where i dont (my computer) need a router for security... but i dont really see an issue with the hub i have.. its a managed netgear hub... i also like the hub cause i can host things without having to port forward.. You must have one computer hooked up to the internet then have the other computers connected to the hub and then routed to use you main system to access the net??
