disturbed Posted June 30, 2007 CID Share Posted June 30, 2007 ....its a toshiba satellite, intel core duo 1.73ghz, 512mb of ram, 80gb hd, dvd+- burner, ati 200m video, windows vista business.............its a nice 15.4 incher, i like it.......the best of all, i bought it cheap, for like 450 - which is a great deal...512 clearly isnt enough for vista so ill be dropping in 2gb in a week or so which should help out a lot.... ....i tried reverting back to windows xp but since toshiba doesnt directly support xp for this particular laptop its a pain in the ass....a lot of functionality is removed and the system itself is not stable....mouse movement is glitchy, function keys dont work, power options are almost non existant........just terrible, im amazed that they just didnt release xp drivers............but now that i removed that bloated vista home basic the laptop comes with and replaced it with a fresh install of vista business its much better...... so far so good speed test on it...wireless :::..
