Guest ExtremeFusion Report post · CID: 111458385 Posted October 13, 2007 Well, I've noticed that IE 7 is a bit slower than its previous version.. So one night i trioed searching for the fastest browser there coud be.. And i found this link... http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html As to what the comparison table says, Opera 9.01 is the fastest.. So tried it and got satisfied.. But the only thing i'm concerned about is, What if the site is bias? How would i really know which is the fastest browser? What do you guys think, based on your surfing(iNet) experience.. Is Firefox, Safari or Opera is the fastest browser? Which do you think?!

fr0stbound 0 Report post · CID: 115182798125 Posted October 13, 2007 Whats with the add ons of FireFox?! haven't tried it, what are those add ons?! firefox add-ons gives different functions to your firefox, examples are opera-like mouse gestures(i love this add-on, wish i could have it with windows explorer) and ability to control your media player program. try searching this link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ Nah, firefox always slowed mine down. Worse than IE6. i guess it's a case to case basis. personally, firefox and opera are tied on first place, opera for it's speed, and firefox for it's add-ons. Roco 137 Report post · CID: 744444322860 Posted October 14, 2007 The fastest browser ? , is the one that works for you IMHO , so it downloads a bit quicker , but takes a time tro link up and needs plugins ? , for me firefox was clumsy and ended up no faster than I.E. 6 so I use Maxthon for the tabs , so for me the old adage " KISS" works '(keep it simple stupid ,) so1/2 a second would destroy life ? Does Canimo 1.5 even work for Desktop PC?, Windows based to exact!!!! Na its mac only, but read something when 1.5 first came out and they did performance benchmarks with a ton of browsers, mac and windows and camino 1.5 was the fastest of them all. And i'm very surprised that Mozilla hasn't ported it to windows and or done the performance tweaks they did for camino in firefox because it is a night and day difference. Camino has actually been like a testbed for firefox because if you look at what they are doing with firefox 3 some of the stuff is already in camino as far as look and feel.
