tommie gorman Posted September 18, 2008 CID Share Posted September 18, 2008 Oh how I loathe Kid Rock..... I loathe anyone that does not know how to dress for a country stage, so many today dress like its a rock concert or something. To me very disrespectful of the stage. I am actually suprised its accepted for real. This for some of us Dinosaur's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMzuKHlYJv0&feature=related Who you calling a dinosaur ya old fart. :evil6: Thats young stuff. Old bluegrass is old shit. Sequoia Posted September 18, 2008 CID Share Posted September 18, 2008 I'm more of a rock listener than country but I listen to both. These are some you might not have heard. Willie Nelson from Red Headed Stranger.A mix of the songs shortened a little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMZ2zDW42O8 There was also a # 2 on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OXx4H9DuZY&eurl=http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=24468.new Charlie Daniels In America ( Live 1980) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW0-Cl100rc&feature=related Uneasy Rider 88 Beatles do a country song Act Naturally http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzEuhIIK6cw

ghostmaster Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 If he hadn't drowned, and even since he did, we cannot leave Jeff Buckley's 4 octave range voice off of ANY greatest singer/songwriter list... Grace [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siNsgbIWhAQ"] Hallelujah [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AratTMGrHaQ&feature=related] So Real [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WolmjxD4hn4&feature=related] Forget Her [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noQH6lyu0sA&feature=related] For my money, the greatest voice ever, and proof to me there can't be a benevolent god for taking him away... EDIT: Nevermind, embed is disabled on these links, just copy and paste it..
Sequoia Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 ghostmaster I listened to a couple of the Jeff Buckley songs.I actually hadn't heard of him. I don't think of this topic as a "greatest " list just "some songs of our lives ". I don't know your age but I'm probably older.I listen to a wide range of music. If you like some octave range then You have to include Roy Orbison. Roy Orbison This one starts with a German intro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFxbIYF6cmw Roy when older but still sounds good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV2Ue7f1u7w&feature=related btw even if the links don't embed they are easier to use as links I think all you have to do is not bracket them. ghostmaster Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 Some videos block embeding, by making them appear "no longer available". I put it in brackets so it wouldn't embed.
Sequoia Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 OK I see what you mean . With the brackets the videos can "always" be accessed with copy & paste.
