TheHalf Posted June 6, 2006 CID Share Posted June 6, 2006 All you people are so unappreciative.. Not true! I pay $$$ for a service as well as you (I see you have Verizon), if it's within your budget purchase a better package from Verizon. I am with Adelphia and have their Premiere package...now knowing that Adelphia has an Extreme tier who hasn't rolled it out in my area fustrates me! The idea that Adelphia or Verizon doesn't offer their services (ExtremeFiOS) in an area that they consider a money loss is bullsh*t! It's a service that I am willing to pay for. So as far as me being unappreciative with my current service of 6Mbps768Kbps is hog wash. TheHalf

tommie gorman Posted June 8, 2006 CID Share Posted June 8, 2006 First off I would say that you should be able to do a little better than that if you are supposed to be getting 7Mbps D/L. You are only running at 50 % of your speed. What is your connection type, DSL, cable, WiFi, maybe satellite? And have you read through this thread? http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257 How much do you pay and where are you located? Country or State?
