Mactron Posted June 3, 2005 CID Share Posted June 3, 2005 ....how many of you members have dail-up as a backup for when the faster connection is down? I have dial up as a backup. I have a stand alone 56k modem connected to my Router through the Com port. When DSL goes down, About 1-2 hrs a year, I can fail over to dial up for the whole network. Slow, but it keeps the e-mail traffic up.
