Indestructable Posted December 1, 2005 CID Share Posted December 1, 2005 Actually man, it does. 64 kbps is extremely slow...for broadband...really, it is. What are your ISP (internet service provider) 's advertised speed? up and down please... A homepage linky will do.
organ_shifter Posted December 1, 2005 CID Share Posted December 1, 2005 i am damm sure thats its not 56kbpa and dial up mr, if u know then only u talk otherwise dont, i am using broadband connection of SIFY...ok/// dont feel grt,,ok ...and dont write nonsense.......as u did Why so angry? Members are trying to help you. You can accept it or use the search function. Either way, a broadband connection rated at 64kbps isn't really considered broadband at all. Here is the isp's page: http://broadband.sify.com/showplan.php?id=
Indestructable Posted December 1, 2005 CID Share Posted December 1, 2005 Damn that's a crappy isp..
muttster Posted December 1, 2005 CID Share Posted December 1, 2005 Sify..64kbps? damn. sad connection. They have a 150mb/day limit too.Though nights are free from 10pm to 8am. Which city are you in ? What are the other choices? You might want to consider MTNL or BSNL. Airtel is the best currently offering 256kbps unlimited for Rs.999. Exattnet is also nice. raptors892004 Posted December 2, 2005 CID Share Posted December 2, 2005 well i have seen your other post and 62Kbps on a 64 Kbps is about the maximum you cna get out of it.. if you want faster speeds, I recommend using another ISP which offers faster speeds
