the mac mini? but seriously. i think you would need to hook it up to a pc with a tuner. plus you would need something to output sound since usually a monitor don't have speakers...are there any home theater systems on the market that have a dvi out? if the rig has a tuner then you could hook up the monitor to that... maybe buy a cheap used comp off e-bay or something and slap a tuner card in there. hook up some cheap 2.1 speakers and you're good, no?

well, the getting called out to reload the os is because the user clicks on every yes button he can find, surfs with admin rights and no av firewall and ends up with 12 internet explorer toolbars and every available piece of spyware from bonzibuddy to gators clock and god knows what else installed. while many people rail against wally world much as they rail against any other large company, look at the bright side. wal-mart gives a lot of poor people a way to stretch their budget a little better than with regular supermarkets. the only reason i personally don't go there much is because i prefer shopping at costco for the basics because they are even cheaper.

i can see it now. a trailer with a mainboard on blocks on the front lawn...

a neat idea would be a list of parts you need to buy. processor, dvd, hd, etc and throw in a software bundle. you pick and choose the hardware, homebuild it and get the same good deal for os and stuff as on a prefab box.

i agree. except on the condition of the roads. roadways in puerto rico are well maintained examples of exellent engineering and serve their apparent purpose of interconnecting a well established network of potholes very well. [/sarcasm]

i know what the topic is. i was responding to the post i quoted. and will they be able to stop the theft? hopefully. is it likely that they succeed? no. why? because people do not feel that copying, something that is so easy to do and apparently victimless (at least they don't see the people they are hurting, be it either the owners of the rights they are infringing or the honest customers that have to pay more and deal with copy protection mechanisms because of the thieves) is a crime.

call it stealing. swapping makes it sound so nice.

right now there is a 6.6 percent excise tax on anything shipped here. but no sales tax. the proposal is to lift the excise tax and apply a sales tax instead. (the government thinks it will have more money to waste that way). out of every billion increase in funds 720.000.000 will go to payrolling the local government employees, if one bases future budgets on the current ones...

speaking as someone that would collect quite a few bad post reviews when trolling i wouldn't really mind. the great post rating would be to mark the post as noteworthy, to highlight the cream of the crop, so to say. that way more people (if they chose to look for highly rated posts) would see the noteworthy ones.

last time it rated only the user, not the individual post.
