I think hes referring to the Adelphia upgrade I talked about yesterday.Adelphia is planning on offering a 16/2 tier in Virginia first,where they have competition from FIOS and Cox

I would too,but I think it will be such a hassle here in NYC.As long as I get great speeds it doesnt matter

Yea I have a feeling the basic service would be anywhere between 10-13 Mbps. 10/1 is more logical,but if you noticed basic was always 3Mbps less than premium,so if premium is 16 then im hoping we get 13 Also hopefully upload is 2 Mbps for both services,then everything will be fine

Im under TWC,and I know theyre part of the deal also,so maybe thats why one of our members has a 16 Mbps download but from RR,none the less I know TWC/Adelphia/Comcast are gonna have something big in store for us. Like u said RR always sets pace for something good,just hope the upload increases lol

Is this a coincidence or what.One of our fellow members here has RR premium and now has a 16 Mbps download speed,and there are news that Adelphia will be upgrading their premier service from 6 Mbps to 16 Mbps.Now my point is could the buyout of Adelphia mean that everyone will get those speeds? I have the same modem too But I cant bypass the router yet because everyone is still using it lol,ill try tonight when everyone is asleep.Also I dont have RR premium so I dont think I will get what ur getting,I hope so but im not sure.

Yea,your upload is fine because RR premium is 8000/512 and your getting about 492 kbps which is fine.The only thing im curious is how your download doubled by going directly to modem,I believe you now that yours is not cached but that is a huge jump the past 2 days BTW where are u located at?
