yea thats just your signal level for your modem,downstream is the signal for your download side of the modem,and upstream is for your upload

Well if your cablenut settings are not the best suited for your connection,you could get some weird results,but sometimes those speeds are just flukes You should be fine

Yup,Smartest picks the best possible size for your connection,so if you get extreme results like that,it is showing you the burst part of the speed.Thats why with the 13MB test,you have speeds you should be getting,since its a big file,the burst settles down and you get your normal results

This is what you should be getting for your package,since this is the most accurate test.But the other test where you have 1.7 Mbits is something to worry about if it happens constantly

Those are great speeds for a 4000/384 plan,take a bigger test and see what you get,since it would be more accurate

You should be happy with your speeds,theres not much you can do with your current speed BTW: those are pretty good speeds for Verizon,my friend has the 3/768 plan,and he only gets 1100 the most on download So your fine

Sometimes it freezes on me too,but for a little while,what i usually do is just minimize it and wait till its done.Also I do use Spybot first and it does help out,try everything everyone said here,I hope it works,Good luck.
