If you were getting over 10 before, I would think you should at least be getting that. You have restarted the modem? I know dumb question, but I don't knowmuch on these. Undo the cable to the modem and touch the end for 10+ seconds to relieve static electricity. After that I would say someone should be along to look at this by late tomorrow. Probably sooner. So did you call comcast yet with this one?

Well...where were you? I have the slow boy. A clean machine runs more efficiently than a dirty machine. That would be the most important one to work on. But the sudden drop just on this modem does concern me a bit. What does comcast say? Someone on comcast might know better though.

Welcome to the forum sunuva Totally remove and delete cablenut. And clean it out from your system. GO back to old settings. Cablenut only slowed down my satelite speeds. How long have you had the setup ? How has the weather been lately? Ice, snow, rain. When was the last time you restarted your modem? When did you last defrag your HD, or do disk cleanup (clean out your registry )? How is your signal strength ?
