That was the reason for the DeLorean. Have you ever sanded down to 2000 grit on stainless till it shines like chrome?? It will give you a mirror finish just like chrome. I have done tool boxes like that. It is pretty neat. The only cost besides the sander is the sandpaper and elbow grease. It looks as good as the paint chrome. And won't scratch off. A palm sander is a good friend for this job.

Hey, one can only hope. Cable ISP's sure don't give a crap. Actually DSL is on it way. slowly. Definately not fast enough though. They like charging for the equipment and getting another 15 month contract. Usually the same monthly. Or outright $400 for the last upgrade.

Actually that is possible. Take some of the tile shingles that look like the old red tile shingles. Or the old slate ones. That would be the only ones I think would work. Or just have a metal roof put on and have it taken to a chrome shop first.
