So far I heard it is

Even though its not IE, thats maybe the main reason why i like it.. Even though as you said some websites look different, it does not allow any spyware to enter my computer by using some extensions

This always worked for me: Open Task Manager and end explorer.exe Then go to the Applications tab in task manager and click on the new task button.. Type cmd in there. Then browse to the directory where the file is (with the command cd *directory name*).. After going to the directory type "dir" (without quotes) and then del "filename" .. Then you can go into task manager again and in the new task field, type explorer.. The file should be deleted now And if you used IE to download that file, close Internet Explorer before doing the explorer end task thing and going to the command line to delete it Try this program if the method above does not work - Delinv

Its 64 bit but only 1.6ghz.. It will still run Vista but may be slow with some new programs that demand a lot of cpu power.. Still a good deal for that price

Basically: Intel = speed AMD = more responsive cuz of their higher fsb speed Both do fine for me

That topic is a constant discussion about the setbacks and advantages of FF vs. IE .. And more ppl need to vote on its poll

After some years, maybe someone will buy it as an antique on ebay

its pretty nice, yea, but in windows explorer, the side panel is white, which blinded me as well. Good theme, but if i could find the part in the styles file that states the color for that side panel of windows explorer, it would be even better

i've never tried it myself, but i'll keep its name in mind in case i need it in the future.. thanks for sharing

im at about 90% of my connection's advertised speeds and cablenut cannot help me with any increase.. just settle for what u got now

From what i learned in this topic, if its not the modem and router (which is very often the case), it is either a signal issue or a problem with the connecting stuff (e.g.: splitters, cable...) Best thing is to call the company and ask them to fix it if it happens occasionally
-
I had that same thing before.. My internet would drop from 256k to 20k to nothing and it would stay like that forever.. Cable company guy came in, changed the splitter and everything was k.. Now I know what it is the next time it happens
-
i had a problem with my splitter before, so i guess the next time i would just try to change it and if it doesn't work, i'll call the company.. I don't think it is the strenght of the signal though, because my internet works fine for a couple of weeks after every disconnection, but thanks for the advice

I found this cool .theme file from download.com.. Its called Energy Blue and it looks pretty cool.. Its also free and doesn't need any extra programs to run..
-
i got an average of 30ms ping on that website.. seems to be working now

that 6mb file was not fragmented before i ran the disk defrag for the first time.. i created that file after i ran the 1st disk defrag.. maybe it didn't show any files as fragmented the first time cuz there were too many?
-
it can track down all downloads.. so what u r saying is basically stay off the net
-
Do any of you guys know any good non-spyware and non-virus attached websites that offer free downloads of ".theme" files? I don't want to use any of the paid programs, mainly cuz they take up part of my system's memory and because I gotta run them every time i wanna see the theme.. Thanks in advance

after defragging my hdd for the first time, i get files that are fragmented in the analysis report everytime i run the windows defrag.. when i run the 1st defrag a couple of days ago, i had 0 files listen under fragmented.. now this 6mb file has 58 fragments.. any recommendations or thoughts on that? EDIT: I scanned my other partitions and i have roughly 20-30 files showed under a category as fragmented.. Is this normal after the first scan or did the first scan just not show them cuz there were too many or something? In my first scan I had much more red regions than I have now
