I tried Opera, but did not notice much difference in speed increases.. For now its FF and IE for me

Some time ago I had a problem kinda like that.. My splitter was faulty and was causing the modem to not pick up the cable singnal.. The ISP repairman came and changed the splitter and everything was fine.. It could be that, but however it could be also the connecting cables from the router -> modem or router -> splitter.. I've never had problems with my cables, but it could be a reason why the connection would not work.. Does your internet work if you directly connect the modem to only one pc? That way we can eliminate the splitter problem..

That link did not work for me in IE since WMP could not open it.. Firefox asked me to save it, I did and it worked when I played it off my computer, but it is the same sound as the author of this thread uploaded

I got a firewall and I have no problems playing videos from the internet even though I have blocked incoming and outgoing packets to WMP.. I play mine in the open windows and not in the media player.. Had no problem with IE or Firefox

You got a character which u get new stuff for and from what I read on their website, fights.. If you win u get more respect and stuff.. Idea is to get the biggest clan in the game.. I played those games years ago, but they just take too much time right now

How long is this trailer? Because the lowest resolution is 60mb.. If its something like 40 seconds I'll just forget about it

in the beginning i think i caught the lyric "this is my time", but it could've been something else.. I couldn't find any songs called "This is my time" though

Check out CCleaner.. It deletes unnecessary programs' files, IE cache and can even help in cleaning out your registry.. This should be one thing that would help make Windows faster.. You can also check out this testmy.net topic.. I have never tried to perform what it says, but some ppl say it works.. CCleaner will help your pc run faster though.. If you would like to have more free RAM on your system (in case you do not have enough or something), check out Free Ram XP Pro.. I have it installed on one of my older machines and it works pretty good

do you have any other computers that are using this 10mbit connection (e.g.: by using a router)? EDIT: It could be also affected by the distance from you to the C.O. office of TELUS because the farther you are from theat office, the less speed you get on your connection..

my java takes up about 75mb mem with acureus.. yours is a bit high, but i would not worry if u got over 1 gb of ram

is that 1mbit or 1 mbyte connection.. if its 1 mbit it is still kinda good compared to lower speed connections, but its bad if its broadband
