Is Your Son A Computer Hacker! (LOL)
tonyswhirl replied to Dark_Matter's topic in General Discussion
You could say I'm a model parent. My children have never failed to make me proud, and I can say without the slightest embellishment that I have the finest family in the USA. As you can imagine, I was amazed. A computer hacker in my own house! I began to monitor my son's habits, to make certain that Cindy wasn't just telling stories, as she is prone to doing at times. In one line he has the model family in the next line his daughter makes up stories - this is definatly a joke article -

You may be too close The TOO Strong Signal: There is a second problem besides signal loss from distance or interference and that is the over boosted signal and you could experience both problems on the same network. Over boosted?... Well yes, if your wireless access point is too close to your computer, even with their tiny factory antennae, there are AGC (automatic gain control) circuits to keep the receiver section in the equipment from burning out. When an AGC (automatic gain control) circuit kicks in, the signal will disappear just the same as if there were none. You may be able to see the access point in your computers software program as a good signal or nothing at all. At any rate, you won't be able to connect to it. How do you avoid this? You simply try to locate your access point in a central location that will keep it 10' feet or more from any equipment that will be using its signal (it's also not a bad idea to keep it away from other electrical equipment). Another solution, if the computer is too close, is using a small flat type directional antenna at the computer turned toward or slightly away from the signal. This will help cut out reflected signals and down the direct signal. Experiment with its aiming, for highest file transfer levels using a large file download after you connect.

Further work by other bloggers such as Kirk McElhearn found that the data being sent back to Apple to make the recommendations included artist, title, genre as well as unique identifiers for a computer and iTunes account. Privacy advocates complained that Apple had not done enough to warn people about the information that was being collected, nor what was being done with the collected data.

Divide the country into two parts 1 part - no guns 1 part - everyone armed within in two weeks (at the outside) the part with no guns will be on their hand and knees begging to enter the armed part. -

THINK WE DON'T NEED FIREARMS????? Always remember, our second amendment is NOT about game hunting it is about ensuring that our freedom, our rights, our property, our safety, our lives, and our constitution will always be protected no matter what-even if the law or our courts fail! GET EDUCATED: http://www.a-human-right.com/effective.html Amendment II A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. "The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age..." -- Title 10, Section 311 of the U.S. Code. "I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials." George Mason "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is...to protect themselves against tyranny in Government." -- Thomas Jefferson "The weak, and those unwilling to make the struggle, soon resign their liberties and freedoms for the protection of powerful men or paid armies; they begin by being protected, they end up being subjugated." -- Louis L -

Where I live there is virtually no crime - would you care to guess why - maybe the right to bear arms - maybe The occasional burst of an automatic weapon usually keeps idiots away
