You don't have to install the yahoo toolbar. Just uncheck it during installation.

I was having the same problem as DAOWAce last night the test would barely move so I thought the site was slow. Might have just been my connection or the routing. Edit: Its all good now.

It could be overseas congestion. I looked at your test page and there are some 8 meg speeds but most are what you are getting. Are the high ones taken from mirrors? Clear your Temp. internet folder in internet options under tools. And welcome to the forum. EDIT: NOTE: If you have download accelerators such as the Google Web Accelerator please turn them OFF before testing.
