I also have Insightbb basic. I was using the RCA modem I had to remove the tweeks for it to work right. The RCA was timing out on the first hop on a tracert so I turned it in an they gave me a Webstar DCP2100 and I couldn't get over 3.5mg so I put the tweeks back in and this is what I get now. :::.. Yes I think he is lucky because there are people who have crappy service providers with a monopoly in their areas who never up grade. Threse providers have the mentality of its better than dial up.

I was using Verizon dial up before I went to cable. I was getting any where from 50Kbps to 53Kbps constantly. Used them for about 5 1/2 years until I talked my wife into cable. :D
