Hmnm, very odd indeed "it somehow gets BELOW room temp.. I have no idea how, ". me neither , that flies against the rules of thermo -something , room temp.72 F , CPU 66F the way I see it room air in at ambient of 72 F, fan ( which will generate some temp , ) slightly compresses the air , adding more temp , at this point the air temp cant be lower than 72F most likely nearer 74 F , blows across the heat sink sitting on the CPU , which has to be higher than ambient room temp of 72F , but you get a reading of 66 F, thats got me beat for sure , Ca3le you sure your not checking your drinks cooler have or can you check the temp in the BIOS , ? I would worry about a sensor if that was my box ,

OK , one last thought from me, have you tried starting the computer with the TV card removed ? , but sorry to say I still think it is the M/B , hope I am wrong on that , power supplies have built in protection and are normaly reliable , mother boards are very sensitive to static and other things , just thinking on swaping the TV card, you didn't knock any connectors off , especialy those from the front panel as the don't lock on it's easy done , and worth checking also ,

try bridging the start button , but I fear it's the mother board , does any of the internal fans run ? , I have a mother board that has failed that way , repeated hot wiring the start button will eventualy force a start , in about 1/10 times , ,

super glue dosn't bond all plastics , and once it has dried it wont bond again , so I have found , I would go with Tommie's sugestion

Hi Rushonbye , we are still very grateful for Americas involvement in both world wars , a bit late in joining in on both , but much appreciated nontheless , I can only speak on the 2nd world war , it was already won before Americas involvement , but not to Americas taste and certainly ours in the UK , Russia was the key factor that would have finished WW2 , they took the major brunt of it all , and as a reward the west turned it's back on that nation , this isolation was the cause of the cold war that blighted the lives of a generation , and nearly started WW3, Europe having been through 2 world wars on it's home soil , has joined together to make sure that never happens again , you may misinterpret that as not being patriotic , but we are done with overt displays of armed power , and see the display of firepower as beyond Pornography , and only displayed by extremists , No insult intended , and certainly not the the brave fallen American soldiers of any conflict , ( BTW , I still attend Church services to commemorate those guys ) I certainly don't disrespect America and all it stands for , but I do worry America is becoming isolated on the world stage, every year I hope the Christian message of "Peace and good will to all mankind " might take root in the 21 century , and every year the answer is not yet , indeed "Bless The USA , I have no problems with that setiment ,
