  2. Have you checked Ccleaner options "cookies " make sure TMN is not in the cookies to keep box , I have just tried running Ccleaner while on TMN , closed the browser , restarted the browser , and I was logged out

LOL ,Just , I also got 6.5 on the test also ,You sure that ain't BT's own complaints test page , I get 2Mb also , along with the other 25% of BT phone line users , the national aqverage is less than 2Mb in the UK , we have a long way to go with adsl IMO some good info can be found at http://www.dslzoneuk.net/

  5. Thanks Swimmer , 4703.5 miles to my ISP + around 60 miles on from that , my speed test to TMN show about a 10% drop compared to testing in the UK latency goes up by about 30% , today it is 160 ms

I am based in the UK , and I loose about 25% of my speed to Bangkok (5950 Miles) if you want a local test try this one http://www.speedtest.net/ , also check your computer using Antivirus and Spyware programs , also you can adjust some settings with https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php and maybe gain some speed , but read the instructions first good luck

    Thanks for the input Le murphant , if we are all honest I guess we all take a look , as a good pagan guy I must admit I did , the operative word is did, but the good stuff cost $$$$$ , and something I have no need to pay for , but each to their own , and I see nothing wrong with that either, yeah I limited the vote to 2 , just to sharpen the thoughts , yeah, but them critters have 9 lives , apart from the one I hit at 70 mph , if he had a life left he sure would be walking with a limp , I guess the same as the guys who voted porn #1

SSSSSH, dont shout , thats including TAX, LOL just look at the speed I got *goes into raptures * I got home this morning and found a gaggle of Brit.Telcom guys scratching there heads looking in the green box up the road , last time they did that my ADSL went down to less than 56k dial up, they must have accidently tightend the wrong screw today as I got an extra 1Mb down guess I will have to call them back and point out their mistake My plan is 8Mb Max ....... in the small print anything over 1.5Mb is normal and you will get no help

Hi Junerian , I have found the quickest way is to take the cover off the computer , and have a look ,if it is a built in sound just look for the m/b makers name and model or if it is a separate sound card , it should have a reference number on it , then of to the manufactures site, , If it is a brand name computer (Dell, Hp,etc ).go to their site and you should find the driver there ,

    Hi jeffwalker, I used illeagal as I was trying to draw out B.laden , Win 3.11, I got that in 1999, soon updated to win 95 though, 95 had so many advantages I could make a sandwich and coffee while it booted (8Mb ram 450Mb hard drive )
