thanks for the PM grandpa , and Tommie for the no vote from me (now corrected ) and Mudmanc ( I am settled with a steady at the moment , who shoulder surfs , so I don't know what you mean by Porn ) and thanks to all that tried to e-mail me, a freebie customer e-mailed me saying if I ......? ( this involves Incredimail ) I cant use e-mail , OK no probs. I will try that lol she was right, full reload for me also , one day I will learn, *maybe* !, this got me thinking of what I missed most while doing a clean install + all the updates, good to see that TMN is in the lead , and as Dlewis said :lol:not me Bro, well just by accident, ...................................maybe !
  3. Mine is e-mail , followed closely by TMN forum , and then Tech stuff, And finally other , it
  4. there is a craxz for just about everthing out there if you seek, is this right or wrong, I guess it's down to your conscience , but also there is a Grey area , where maybe it is OK in my view My Grandson (11y )bought Lord of the Rings legit ,lost the reg # and on his new puter couldn't run it, the supplier came up with buy a new copy , , he buys his own games out of his pocket money for doing jobs around the house, so I cracked it for him , in my view that was justified, Back on topic , Anti virus software, Grisofts AVG has never failed me , I guess a lot depends where you surf
  5. :lol:True enough friend , good enough for me , I have met a lady in the retirement home . (if I dare mention it ) who was born in 1898 , dont know if she is still around but she was in 2002 and still doing OK , that one is going to have a wonderfull inscription , b1898 - d 200? ,
  6. lol don't ever turn down experience due to age how else are you going to learn I guess your comments sums up the mistakes of the past, hope the leason has been learned , a lot of people sit glued to the TV while the experts uncover ancient remains of buildings , and eagerly relish the dating, Greek , Roman etc , so what happens in 1000 years time , the uncovered 1980's concrete and glass building gets dated to the year 2000 , the time of the 2nd comming of the vandals ,
  7. right on there Tommie , thats why I gave the pcture the title "love is ", is it the bikes , or the family , or both maybe ? you judge , coz, I cant vote I know the answer,
  8. right enough there ,
  9. will do granpa , as the owner is well aware who I am, part of his deal was to re landscape the area after , I will take a photo , it was more than one English oak that went , these oaks were set in one of Englands most pleasant parks , 3 different species of deer roam in there, the park is walled by 10 mile 8 ft Tudor wall , the trees lined the drive to the Royal stables , ( now turned into luxury apartments , Bushey Park http://www.photoconnect.net/aapic/ThumbPage_100385.php I cant post any pics from that site , read the warning the river ( it isn't, its a canal ) is the one that runs past my garden , It was dug for the king by soldiers between the Napoleonic wars 15 miles long , at a cost of $7000 , it was dug to keep the morale up of the soldiers , while they weren't busy Dying for the King , we have a very conciderate Royal family the park was given to the public by Queen Victoria ,in the 1800's , and has been dedicated to the Canadian Commonwealth troops that lost their lives in both world wars, and has a totem pole from Canada by a lake, also it housed Eisenhower's comand headquarters during ww 2 , (SHAEF), finally closed in the late 1960's reopened briefly during in the70- 80s and housed a lot of secret American military personnel and loads of computer stuff that was cooled by gas,(nitrogen ? any one seen this b4 ) as a Eco warriors we tunneled in in the 90s , some very strange stuff in there, we found a pit full of Mercury!, but still guarded , by Brit. Mil police + dogs , but they had to sleep at some time I got 800Mb of poor Q vid film someware, Btw I am thinking of writting a book on the parks History, soon as I stop racing about fixing things for other people, BTW we still have a annual service of thanks giving for the help the Americas gave the UK in WW2 , called Chestnut Sunday + a pic for Coknuc , we believe Bro. , just had a tip off , where 50 or so American Mil Harley's are buried in the park to save transporting them back to the USA, :lol:I must stop here or Tommie will complain about all this Shit in his thread
  10. great idea , but ya got to promise to be gentle , it's only a sapling at the moment (around 15 ft height ) yes it has some advantages , but the worry factor is still there , with your daughters you know they are safely tucked up in bed at night , the maple is left outside in the cold and dark surrounded by the creatures of the night , but the upside when it gets older I will at least know where it is , then it will be your turn to worry about the creatures of the night , ....................
  11. Yeah sad , but a lot of people over here did , it made the national newspapers , and has changed the way things are done, just about every full grown tree now has a protection order on it , we have to get permision to lop branches off trees in our own gardens, and as a way of amends my local council has planted 5000 trees , I have a Japanese Maple planted outside my house for free , I had to sign adoption papers for it , so it looks like at last I am putting down my roots, I would love to fly over , but I can't leave my adopted Maple behind , *maybe I could get a tree sitter though * Hmmm,
  12. Tdawnaz, it will have to be your tree , mine got the chop , it was blocking the view of the Royal park , for a millionare in his new house, but on the funny side , the local peasents walking in the park now give the house the , I guess he will put in a high hedge soon
  13. nice find dn0 but the only bit I still cant follow is that if these UFOs have the ability to cross light years , and appear around the Earth , that would to my mind make their technology a light year or two ahead of ours, then they break down with no rescue backup policy , I personaly do belive the are other civilasations out there , but wether we will ever get to meet them is another question , but if we did it might not be as good as we think , I realy dont fancy being put in a zoo, or even being the main course for lunch , I hope the world has found some new technology and if a nation had got this I figure that they would be racing ahead to put it into practice , if only for the monetary gain it would give ,
  14. I appologise for that , we did wander right off topic here ,and has been for the last 3 days, please feel free to bring it back on topic , as my next puter build will be AMD powered , so any input would be apreciated by me
  15. now that has given me food for thought , Hmmm, would I trust an AMD processor that much, but I guess rebooting could be fun reminds me of the time I was working in a retirement home for elderly ladies , I was working in a corridor when an elderly resident complete with a white stick came around the corner ,I hastily gathered up my tools so she did not trip over them , she called out no it's ok stay as you are , as she deftly walked around them and disappeared out the main doors tapping her way to the edge of a busy main road, thrust out her stick amid the squeal of brakes and walked across and into a shop , next to reapear and repeat the crossing in the same maner , clutching her newspaper , I guess it's true , there ain't no point getting older if you don't get wiser
  16. lol you thinking of bidding on TMN
  17. I done enough of the 60 hour weeks , I just guess it was my time for parole
  18. thanks for the enlargement, nah, normal Mil approach procedure , the gunner /observer is just indicating to his buddy in the control tower , be prepaird I WILL BE BACK SOON ,Honey ,
  19. sorry bro , but every time Tdawnaz gets a mention I kinda loose the plot, the word UNITE triggered it off I guess spring is in the air , oh no, another cold shower for me
  20. :lol:So whats up with the props on the plane , every thing I flew had them things , Sh*t I guess I must be getting old , and the Bicycle regs . http://www.historynet.com/magazines/american_history/3028066.html , so what is new ....................................
  21. sorry Bro but given the option , I would stand by Tdawnaz any day, just wish with any luck, we could share our beliefs and interests being chained to a tree with Tdawnaz Mmmmm, lol enough fetish for now, I have sentanced myself to 3 cold showers .......................again ,
  22. that all, depends on the med ,pick the wrong one and your Post count could fall
  23. somebody has to do it Tommie I guess I drew the short straw
  24. as a criminalized tree hugger , ( Eco warrior ) being and hit by a water cannon , and getting my name registered at by Mi5 in the UK , I guess I have no option to stand up and say thats Me but I have no great love of Greenpeace ,( for profit ?) I feel it is up to every individual to do there best for the enviromemt within there ability , if you follow Greenpeace to the letter ,our society would collapse within 6 months, the real problem IMHO is over population , we are breeding faster than ants, and this will be the downfall of our species, the world will recover from our downfall; and will spin on for another billion years , lol why am I getting such profound thoughts lately, must talk to my Doc . maybe he can change my medication ......................
  25. same for me , but I am contracted to work 10 hours a week over 3 days , anything above that , I name my price, yeah, some days I have to start at 7 am , but finished by 10.15 am , and if I get lucky , back to bed for me + I am on a retainer, paid if I have to work or not , just wish I had got on this scam years ago , but then I guess I did not have the knowledge to pull this stunt then , the UK is now very short of good common sense skilled workers , predicted by my old now deceased engineering boss, some time back . lol I laughed at the time, but his words came true enough, should | feel guilty about this , hell no, I just balance this by the experiance of working in the past in highly stressed and dangerous positions and learning the hard way ,
