  1. From the looks of that message I would say it's time for a new HD.
  2. If you can boot to Safe Mode, the first thing I would do is try to use the system restore feature before going out and buying a HD.
  3. I would recomend ASUS or GIGABYTE. I have one of each running with no problems. Try to stay away from cheap MB's and other parts like ECS, you get what you pay for. Look at www.newegg.com and read alot.
  4. Try taking a look at this card and this site in general. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814164039
  5. I was thinking it should also, just wanted to get some input from someone that may have tried it already
  6. Has any one here tried to do wireless VOIP? Will it work with 802.11B?
  7. You have a RT31P2 router. Which means you are probably have IP phone service?? Much of this can be coming from your IP phone service.
  8. The video card will function on the older mobo, but it will only function at 2X speed. This can cause some of the problems illustrated in S1's JPEGS Nothing software can do will fix this, it is a hardware issue.
  9. S1, A couple quick notes about the Giga-Byte mobo The NForce chipset from nVidia works very well with the nVidia chipset on the vid card. The Giga-Byte also has dual channel DDR. Last but not least if you like to OC this board makes it easy.
  10. S1, Take a look at this mobo just for comparison. http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Products/Products_7NF-RZ.htm# The chaintech looks like a good mobo also.
  11. Sounds like you got a good vid card, now you need a mobo that will support the card.
  12. Well, here is mine. Sorry for the blurry pic, will try to get some better ones.
  13. Looks like loads of fun. I have a '97 RAM 1500 with a 360 that has been tuned. and a '01 2500 with a 5.9Cummins thats next.
  14. I have been on VONAGE since September. I have Charter as an ISP and 3000/256 service. My vonage service has been quite clear.
  15. I use [glow=red,2,300]DVD XCOPY.[/glow] It is simple to use and play back on my home dvd player is no problem.
  16. Hardware looks good, just don't like all that preinstalled software stuff. A little info on my hardware: Operating System: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2600+, Memory: 512MB RAM Video: Card name: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 Display Memory: 256.0 MB
  17. I am also using XP Pro at home for the reason of software compatibility. I would be very happy to use Mac OSX if it were more compatible. The Mac OSX is very stable, but what else would you expect from a UNIX based OS. As for LINUX. Yes it is very stable and secure, but nothing is compatible with it. I use RED HAT LINUX on my office server. XP PRO happens to be the big dog right now, but things change!
  18. GOT A REPLY BACK FROM CHARTER, SAYS AS LONG AS THE MODEM IS A DOCSIS MODEM IT WILL WORK
  19. Anybody here using and IP phone adapter?
  20. I am down here in GA This modem is about 1yr old and seems to be having some difficulty staying connected to my isp I am hoping to get some suggestions on a good replacement
  21. CABLE It would appear after reading several documents on charters's support site that they do support DOCSIS modems. Thanks GRAMBLER
  22. You'r probably right. Do you have a suggestion as to what to replace it with?
  23. Is there a better modem than the Scientific Atlanta DPX110 that Charter supplies
