  4. IE7 IE8, both to slow I prefer Firefox or Opera
  5. Sounds like probable driver issue. Check for a driver update from sound card manufacturer or microsoft.
  6. Welcome, I am sure someone here can answer your questions.
  7. Power supplies are not usualy repairable, from my experience. I would look a little closer than just wattage output, be sure the AMP rating on each rail is enough to power the hardware that you have in the box. Here is one you might consider http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182017
  8. Been using it for over a year now. Like the free upload space with it. Sometimes it's picture sorting by date is a bit off though.
  9. Firefox most of the time, IE8 when I have to.
  10. Pretty Close to Advertised for a Change:
  11. I would recomend 750vA to 1500Va and get rid of the surge protector. The UPS will take over if the voltage fluctuates to high or to low to keep your equipment safe.
  12. If it is a case fan that is making the noise it probably is running on 12v. Switching it to a 5v feed is one solution that I have seen to quiet a noisy fan.
  13. AMD Phenom 9850 Quad 2.5 Asus MB

  17. I am running Vista 64 with 4GB of 1066 DDR2 and a Phenom 9850BE with room to expand as needed. I still remembler running an 8 bit processor with 4M of ram and everyone thought that was plenty at the time. Newer apps just seem to want more and more memory
  18. 64Bit was my choice for memory reasons 32bit is limited to 3 or 4 GB of memory. 64bit has a much higher about 128GB For future upgradability I would go for 64bit
  19. Update: MB just gave up the ghost, again.... Getting CMOS CHECHSUM ERROR
  20. I am running Vista Home Premium 64bit with 4GB of 1066 DDR2. I think a lot of the problem was that the comp was down for almost 2 weeks due to a MB failure. Auto update is now off, just set to notify when updates are ready.
  21. Most of these I have seen run usualy take about 20 minutes, bad thing is that you do not know that they are running until you go to restart your comp.
