  4. Great, I hope they will change down south as well. In middle Georgia our speeds for the most part are slow. Oh yeah, and I have Alltel thats just uhhh just uhhh great I guess.

  7. Hi everyone. I have Alltel Dsl with 1.5mb download and 384 up. I am running Windows XP Home, Trend Micro Antivirus, Spybot S&D, and Adaware. I keep a clean running system and have tried TCP Optimizer and cablenut. I seem to get around the same speed with every setting I try. What can I do different? I can't run a tracert, or ping. I do have many services turned off though which one if any would I need to turn on. Anyway here is my results with my Speedstream 4200 router firewall and Microsoft windows XP firewall running. Oh yeah, I am very close to the CO. :::..   8. As long as you have more than (I think it is 12 hours) you can go to my ebay and choose to sell it to the highest bidder. You can communicate this to the buyer by email and get him to bid for what you want. When he has done this you can end early and sell to the highest bidder. Hope this helps!

  10. FallowEarth, I do have it configured to block all ICMP traffic. I am running Windows XP firewall along with the firewall with my SS 4200. Is there a way to fix this or should I get a different firewall? Thanks.

  13. Yes, I am running cablenut and these are my settings. What do think I need to change. Remember my capped download is 1.5mbps and upload is 384. My average latency is around 135 to 140 as far as I can tell. I can't do a trace route without getting errors. Thanks again for everyones help.

  15. What do yall think is some of the best firewalls? I passed everything as stealth, but fail because I receive ping echo requests. How do you stop replying to the echo requests?

  17. I have alltel 1.5/384 also. I posted over in General discussion first and realize I should have posted here. Anyway my results are over in Gen. Disc. and I can't seem to get it faster than about 1.2 to 1.3 mbps. I have the Speadstream 4200. Thanks for your help.
