im not sure ...have you tried changing cables to another port? and maybe its the ethernet port on the back of the pc....or the cable? i'm not sure but i know that one of the other mods/members will know. just be patient

what speeds are advertised for your download basically, and if you get close to that there is nothing you can do to get more of your average, because your average is (as i forgot but coknuck posted) all of that company not just your speed.

well i have an acer aspire 3100 laptop with the integrated "Acer InviLink 802.11b/g Wi-Fi!" is all i know about it. and i dont think it detects it because i have the wifi switch turned on but nothing happens. it just says the my network manager is off....and wont let me turn it on, so i use an ethernet cord and all is fine.
i think he knows that, i think he just was saying how funny it was that they were partners with someone who calls them a potential threat....which is pretty funny
