UPDATE. i unplugged the cord from my motherboard that was for the 2 usb ports in the front of my case and so far it has been problem solved

nope device manager is clean all is fine there. do you think it could be the cable that i plugged into the motherboard for 2 extra usb ports? wait...it says something in pc wizard 2007 about a pci to usb host controller... here is a screen of what it says for the unknown device in pc wizard 2007

sorry for the double post, but do you think it could be the integrated usb in my case? i'll unplug the cable to the front usb that is in my case tomorrow and plug everything into the usb ports in my motherboard instead and see if that helps....

ok, i have been getting this message for awhile now, and cant seem to get it to go away. its a usb error. and it says that an unknown device is malfunctioning, yet it says it has not drivers and wont find any when i click update. it recognizes ALL of the usb hardware i have installed, yet, it says that i have an extra installed and is malfunctioning.....how do i stop this. here is the errors i get.

thats cool. lol good thing you backed up, last time i had a "vista theme" installed (when it was only the betas for the vista OS) i had to format cause i lost some files i needed.

yeah the northbridge should not get that hot at all if anything buy a fan like i did for mine, keeps everything cool. my core temp is almost always around 80-85 Fahrenheit

speed fan is correct on my pc....the fan speed is wrong but other than that the temps are fine....

yep, especially since it cost you a bit of money. lol mine only cost me like 600 and i still take care of it just as if it cost like 2000
