    Prolly has something to do with the fact he is using wireless. I have never had any problems with comcast when registering modems. They registerd mine up and running in 1 minutes. So i dont know why you are saying comcast sucks.

    Ive tried un installing it. Ive tried restarting PC. It just doesnt work. i get a troubleshooting error. I trouble shoot. Says everything is ok but i cant log in? Any ideas?

    What is that adress you type in your address bar to find out your signal levels.

    Than try Unplugging your modem for 5 mins and plug back in. See what results you get.

    You may have the upgrade. Just your Modem might be out of date. That was my problem. And also when you powercycle your modem leave it un plugged for 5 mins instead of the plug out plug in procedure most people do.
