  3. download and install cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 open it, in top left corner click file, save custom settings file, name it backup and save it now close cablenut dubbleclick on one of the files i posted in my previous post, click save to registry and reboot your PC test speed again you need to choose, do not mix diffrent tweaks, if you want to use Dr.Tcp i suggest a RWIN of 63888 if your using a router, and 63360 if your not using a router on win XP VanBuren

  6. try this change the TCP windowsize and globalMaxTcpwindowsize to 8760 - 1460 = 7300 or 7300 - 1460 = 5840 or 5840 - 1460 = 4380 remember to click save to registry after each change and reboot pc ! VanBuren
  7. leave the default recieve window blank, thats a AFD parameter and will do more harm then good, on your low bandwidth if your behind a proxy server, the analyzer will not read your PC

  12. hey sac-o-beef and welcome to the forum all you need to do to get windows default settings is open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry and reboot try that and also bypass your router and connect direct to modem via ethernet, powercycle modem, leave it off for 30 full seconds test speed again also make a linequality test here http://www.dslreports.com/tools disable firewall during test VanBuren

  14. hey tyson22 i dont think you will go much faster then this, atleast not downstream but you can try these files, just backup your current settings so you can restore them if these files dosent go faster VanBuren

  16. yea, you can try finetuning the settings to go faster as most ppl understand the settings i made is a estimate, its impossible to make perfect files for each ISP and caps. also some routers cant handle large RWIN

  21. hey osva and welcome to the forum try this cablenutfile and see if it helps just unzip it and dubbleclick on the file, then click save to registry and reboot powercycle your modem, leave it off for 30 full seconds and test speed again VanBuren
  22. hey misery try this update to latest NIC driver and bypass your router connect direct to modem via ethernet powercycle modem, leave if off for atleast 30 seconds now test speed again if its still not good, try another LAN cable between your modem and PC still no good? call your ISP and let them check your modem signals VanBuren
