what type of drive do you have? You can call the manufacture and a new one depending on the manufacture.. I know that maxtor carries 3-5 years on their drives..
yeah 32 will move quicker than 64 for sure.. there are no programs for 64 yet.. Give it til end of 2007-2008.. then we might see the 64 bit version take off..
yeah i am interested to see how well this launch goes over.. I know that it is going to be ok once the manufactures get their hands on it.. but I dont know if the people that currently have a system are going to go out and buy it..
you can use microsoft print/file sharing to go this..
Are both computer using the router? or are you using Internet Connection Sharing?
If you want to take control of them.. then look into real vnc.. otherwise if you just want to share printers/files then the guide should help..
Here is a guide that i wrote a while back..
There is now a way to get DD-WRT onto these routers.. I have yet to try it, as it was just released yesterday Here is the developer's guide on how to do it..

it is still going to require network access.. so if they blocked AIM.. then it doesnt matter where it is physically installed.. the other thing that you could do is vpn into your home computer.. if they have the ports open.. I would have to look but i think VPN uses UDP and you have to have IPSec pass through and the microsoft protocol allowed..
a lot of it depends on the hardware.. some times it will work and some times it will not.. I have only had one successful hard drive plug and play from a different system. about 99% of the time it is going to require a reformat.
umm..this is not going to be possible.. the P3 993 Coppermine is based on the 370 socket type.. the P4 Willamette or the Northwood are both based on the 423/478 socket type.. Most of the time it is almost impossible to move from one generation to another on Intel products. Looks like a motherboard replacement would be needed or swap computers.
when you start installing skins and getting a bunch of windows.. then it get memory intensive.. I also think that the msn/yahoo plug in take a hell of a lot more memory..
yes.. trillian is a memory hog compaired to other clients.. but it does offer multiple services to be connected at once.. Something that is awesome if you have mulitple screen names!
Let me look into it when I get back.. i found the user manual.. it is a dish or just a patch antenna?
Alright... there are no "standards" that are listed on the manual... i would call the ISP and ask them..
