Yea actually if the signal comes in strong and you use an old nasty splitter or long damaged pieces of cable it can degrade. So with your setup you are probably good.

Yea you shouldnt notice a problem.. you should make sure you use a new splitter in good repair and try not to use long lengths of cable. If you think you are having problems you can have your ISP test the line.
