    FIOS DHCP

Doesn't DHCP work on the existing DI-604/624's that have been deployed? It seems the only change needed is one radio button option in the config.

  9. For linksys routers, disabling the DHCP function does the trick. If you are doing ANY of this testing without disabling DHCP on all of the routers except the di-604, you are spinning your wheels.
  10. The approach you should take is as follows: 1. Establish the wired config downstairs is working correctly.
  11. Precisely what I said. I didn't say java, I said java app. It's the application that is hosed. Another reason I don't use them anymore except an occasional test to see if they fixed the damn thing.
  12. Upon what basis are you all making such statements?
  13. Well, we've confirmed that several connections across the US have seen their upload speed increase.
  14. Have you actually tried the link?
  15. Rerun your tests with SmarTest (http://www.testmy.net/d_load.php?ni=1&tt=1&s=97&st=st&ta=&top=) or Largest (http://www.testmy.net/d_load.php?ni=1&tt=1&s=2992&st=st&ta=&top=) and see what you get.
  16. Is the DI-624 from Verizon or off the shelf?
  17. What kind of signal strength are you getting at the two problem computers?
  18. Welcome to our humble little universe. I'll trade you my mod status for the 30/5 plan
  19. If I were on a farm in the middle of anywhere, I'd be happy with 1.5meg.
