Doesn't DHCP work on the existing DI-604/624's that have been deployed? It seems the only change needed is one radio button option in the config.

Unless of course you are the host. -
You turned off the other wireless access points and made sure you were connecting to it? If so, then it's either the AP or the wireless card in the laptop.

For linksys routers, disabling the DHCP function does the trick. If you are doing ANY of this testing without disabling DHCP on all of the routers except the di-604, you are spinning your wheels.

The approach you should take is as follows: 1. Establish the wired config downstairs is working correctly.

Precisely what I said. I didn't say java, I said java app. It's the application that is hosed. Another reason I don't use them anymore except an occasional test to see if they fixed the damn thing. -
