Do you have a friend that you could take the router to and try it on their connection? If it works on another connection, you know the router is ok. If it doesn't, then it's probable the router is dead.

You cannot select the WAP WPA2 settings unless the client side adaptor and drivers support WPA2.

WPA is more secure but was a temporary solution until 802.11i got ratified. WPA will be replaced by WPA2 (802.11i).

I voted Xbox360 simply because it'll work nicely towards helping me justify a HD TV.

As I previously indicated, you can have a great host, and suck ass connections to everyone else, and the game could have lag.

The servers are used for authentication, matchmaking, game stat storage, post game summaries, bungie.net reporting, etc.

If those are the speeds you are getting for the 30/5 plan, something is seriously wrong.

They actually do have a 5/5 service but the price is pretty outrageous so you don't hear much about it.
