Yes Comcast support page: How many IP addresses do I receive with the Comcast High-Speed Internet Service? Comcast provides and authorizes 1 dynamically assigned IP address per residential High-Speed Internet account. Why you shouldnt steal laptops from Burkley
netmasta replied to Swimmer's topic in General Discussion
hehe, to bad it isn't real or that kid would be in huge trouble. I wouldn't say "myth busted" though. There is tracking software you can put in your computer. Also if you try to connect to a network, they can track your mac address. So, I'd have to say "plausable". -
Yea you must be. That's from rr.com

They're bots. Pamela too. We only have one in the room at a time, since they can "echo like" with more than one.

What is the make and model of your modem. All modems should have ethernet.

Mine is set to news.yahoo.com

That bot in the chat room is interesting, lol

A Young Man Was Sending Millions of Spam E-Mails Every Day -- Here's How AOL Members Helped Stop Him For a kid from New Hampshire, it seemed like the American dream come true -- a successful new business, money pouring in, a hot car and loads of cash. And all of this before he turned 21. Only one problem

I've had cable internet since '98 and cable tv for who knows how long. From what I can remember the cable only went out a few times when they were upgrading the lines for HSI. Other than that, my cable has never gone out. My phone has actually gone out before. It was a problem on their end one of the times. Even though it's a little more expensive I like cable (never had DSL). You don't have to worry about being a certian distance from the CO. And like another peroson mentioned, the speeds get upgraded about once every couple of years.
