Welcome to the forums, ClyftonSM
I don't have FIOS, but I believe Verizon uses custom firmware (Model VDI-624 Vs. DI-624).
Edit: This is the notice next to firmware v. 2.50
"If you have the VDI-624 (revC3), do NOT upgrade firmware. Contact your ISP for an upgrade."
The member stats don't seem to be recognizing that I'm using Comcast? It's the same in host stats
"Your host is 42.159" See pic:
Edit: Seems back to normal now.
Hmm... Wel it could be a few things. His window font size could be too big (set in display properties), I kind of doubt that though. Does he have a lot of toolbars in his browser window?
That's all I can think of for now.
I kind of thought something was up. A few times yesterday for a few seconds, I couldn't access most of the site. It seems fine now Accessing/sending speed test results in the database seems faster (back to normal) too.
Upgrading to the higher tier that is already available everywhere and waiting for the free upgrades are a little different. They haven't compleated the 6/8Mb upgrade everywhere yet.
Then again maybe not. I just did another speed test, and of course it freezed.
Edit: On another note, is anyone else experiancing long waits when accessing the database?
One thing could be where you're downloading from. If the person your downloading from has an upload cap around 180Kb, there's not much you can do, execpt find another connection to download from.
