It doesn't matter if he erased his HDD, he had it shipped to his house. That makes is extremely easy for the police. Besides online stores keep trace of your IP address for that very reason. They will just have your ISP turn over the info to who was using that IP address at that time. If you gave them your e-mail address, they'll do the same there too. BTW they can also get you're pic from your Yahoo! profile to help identify you. Oh, and one more thin, from what I've read (see below), you've just confessed here. So all of us here are wittinesses too.

Internet Explorer 7 is coming this summer...

I'm gonna stick with Firefox for now, for 2 reasons. I believie that it is a better browser and I think that Microsoft is becoming more monopolistic every day. FF may not be able to display every web page because of ActiveX, but remember that back in the prev. browser wars "browser page push" aka: auto forwarding was a feature on Netscape first. Also tabbed browsing IMO is the best thing to happen to browsers since Java. Also FF is very customizable -
FOX presents: "WHEN ENEMA'S GO WRONG!" That is fucking sick. I bet that would be a "10" at ratemyvomit.com, although I'm not sure what the hall that is.

MOTOROLA's SURF board Configuration Manager
netmasta replied to ROM-DOS's topic in XFINITY (Comcast Cable Communications)
They updated the modem list a few days ago. I think Comcast is still troubleshooting problems with the upgrades. I still don't get the faster speeds yet either. Also, I assume you're subscribing to the 6Mb/384/Kb service ($10 extra) -
MOTOROLA's SURF board Configuration Manager

I have the SB4220, and it says that the power level should be between -15dBmV - 15dBmv. This is a link to the SB4200 data sheet: http://broadband.motorola.com/modem/SB4200.pdf It's a PDF file. The main page for that modem: tml#datasheet'>http://broadband.motorola.com/noflash/sb4200.h tml#datasheet -

Don't think that just because it's outside of the U.S. that no one will pay attention to it. There are international laws that offer protection for the movie studios. e.g.:Interpol. It's still stealing no matter where you get it. ^ I'm not trying to sound like a "perfect" law abiding person. I do agree that movie theatre and rental prices are ridiculous though. -

question about differences between how FF and IE read code
netmasta replied to Cobra's topic in General Discussion
The stuff that FF has trouble displaying are most likely ActiveX/IE only, due to the fact that Microsoft created ActiveX. -
about:config is probably what you're talking about.

Before AOL: Q-Link disk Q-Link was AOL's (then called Quantum Computer Services) service for the Commodore computer. You could call it the first real precursor to the AOL service, since it provided news, entertainment, chat, etc. Before Quantum was Quantum, its name was CoVideo Corp., and its product was GameLine, an online service for owners of Atari game machines. It allowed people to download games over the phone lines. I still miss Prodigy Classic, my first "isp". They succumbed to y2k
