If you have standard service you should be getting 4Mb/384Kb. The 6Mb/768Kb costs $10/mo extra.

It can sometimes take a long time to defrag large files. It may also help if you defrag in safe mode. Reboot and press F8 and select safe mode.

Mabey a system restore would help. You can also shut down, logoff or restart using the "shutdown" command in a dos box. Start>> Run >> cmd >>shutdown Below are the options.

Africa? WTF?? In your original post you said it was the internet. Did you try to do a system restore by pressing F8 at bootup?

I have 47MB of space that for some reason is unallocated. Can I get to be part of the C: drive? The computer came like that, I just haven't done anything about it.

Part of the problem could be do to the upgrade. If the problem doesn't get better soon and they refuse to fix it, you may want to contact their complaint department. If you still can't get any promises, then contact your Attorney General's office. By the way, I have Comcast and haven't have any bad customer service experiences.

I'm using the 4Mb/384Kb 1460 Cable file.

It's gone now. Oh well. And no, I didn't even know about the bug.

Cleared my cache. I can see it now. I like it.

I use ZoneAlarm free edition, and I haven't had any problems.
