i dont know what that means, but if you want to know why to disable QoS, it is designed to reserve about 10% of your bandwidth for special packets, which isnt needed, and probably just cuts your speed down

advertised speed, whaterver... caps are almost always higher than the advertised speed, and you cant actually go over your modem's cap without hacking it... i refer to the advertised speed as the cap... -

its a cached test, the file was already downloaded on his computer, or the file didnt exist on the server at the time. -
if you have a consumer account, the Direcway NAT blocks virtually all incoming traffic, so you should be safe

maybe they use a tiny file... 120KB or something, maybe a bit larger...

Just a quick comment... There is 5280 feet in a mile, not 5482, so the maximum distance would be between 3.03 and 3.4 miles...
