i dont know what that means, but if you want to know why to disable QoS, it is designed to reserve about 10% of your bandwidth for special packets, which isnt needed, and probably just cuts your speed down

test with a larger file

advertised speed, whaterver... caps are almost always higher than the advertised speed, and you cant actually go over your modem's cap without hacking it... i refer to the advertised speed as the cap...

its a cached test, the file was already downloaded on his computer, or the file didnt exist on the server at the time.

if you have a consumer account, the Direcway NAT blocks virtually all incoming traffic, so you should be safe

maybe they use a tiny file... 120KB or something, maybe a bit larger...
